What is Shredded Memory Foam, and How is It Different From Regular Memory Foam? Regular and shredded memory foam are both amazing for contouring your head and neck, providing support and all-night comfort. With shredded memory foam, the foam is—yep, you guessed it—shredded into smaller pieces. Since the shredded foam can all move independently, this makes it much more moldable. You can squish, sculpt and shape your pillow however you like it.
Additionally, shredded memory foam makes for a more customizable pillow overall, because you can take out (or add) chunks to achieve the right amount of fill for you.
Do I Need to Buy a Separate Pillowcase for the GhostPillow – Shredded?
Nope! The GhostPillow has its own zippered, removable and washable cover. It’s super soft and kind to your skin so you can use it without a pillowcase, but if you’d like to use a regular pillowcase, you certainly can.
How Do I Wash the GhostPillow – Shredded?
The pillow’s outer cover is machine washable, so all you need to do is unzip it and throw it in the wash! You can wash it in cold water on a gentle cycle and tumble dry on low.
If the inner cover needs to be washed, remove all of the fill first. Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle and tumble dry on low.
