Directions (Dosage)

• Take as recommended by your health professional.
• Adults, adolescents and children (6 years and older), take 1-2 delayed-release capsules once daily during the antibiotic treatment and 5 days after the treatment. Take Bio-K+® at least 2-3 hours after taking antibiotics. To preserve the capsule’s delayed-release properties, do not chew, crush or open the capsules.
• Helps reduce the risk of antibioticassociated diarrhea and C. difficile-associated diarrhea in hospitalized patients.

Cautions and Warnings

• Cautions and warnings: Discontinue use and consult a health professional if symptoms of digestive upset (e.g. diarrhoea) occur, worsen or persist beyond 3 days. Do not use if seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children.
• Contraindications: Do not use if you are experiencing nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea or severe abdominal pain. Do not use if you have an immunocompromised condition (e.g., AIDS, lymphoma, patients undergoing long-term corticosteroid treatment).

Storage

50 billion CFU per capsule guaranteed until the expiration date when stored at room temperature, in a cool dry place.
